Blue Masking Tape – Blue masking tape is made of a thin and easy-to- tear paper and an easily released pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is available in 1” and 2” widths. Blue tape is slightly less adhesive than the yellow masking tape and is used when taping e.g., garage peripheries to produce clean trim lines. It is easily removed without leaving residue or damaging the surface to which it is applied (i.e., the blue masking tape is less likely to peel off paint from painted surfaces).
