GFC Anti-Skid Media, 10lbs
Description
*10lbs
Once applied, any coating system may become slippery when wet and present a potential safety hazard. To mitigate this risk, aggregates are broadcast into coating systems as a form of “anti-skid” to provide a more granular surface for improved traction. The four types of anti-skid aggregates available, listed from least “aggressive” to most “aggressive”, are: (i) polypropylene media, (ii) GFC anti-skid media, (iii) quartz, and (iv) aluminum oxide.
GFC Anti-Skid Media is solid glass particles that are typically applied via sprayer and is the perfect anti-skid for use around pools. Other comparable aggregates like 20-grit or 50-grit Polypropylene must be added directly into the coating product (and rolled) as they tend to clog sprayers; GFC Anti-Skid Media is not limited in this respect.
